About this Speaker
I came into teaching yoga somewhat by chance.
My practice of movements began at the age of ten with ballet which I continued until I switched to jazz dance in my early 20s. This dynamic practice kept my interest high for the next 10 years until I bumped into yoga.
I was now 30 and by the time I reached nearly 40 I’d been practising yoga regularly, gone back to study, delved into esoteric practices and had become a psychotherapist. I was very passionate about my work and maybe too mentally involved. One day my partner said to me “Corinne you’ve got to get back to your body, you’re too much in your mind, you have to bring some balance”
So when the opportunity presented itself I grabbed it. It came from my yoga teacher who suggested I ought to teach yoga. On completion of my training I opened my studio, that was 20 years ago and I’ve never looked back
