Having been trained in classic Hatha Yoga, Sevadevi began teaching yoga in 1996. Joining forces with Farida Irani and others luminaries in 2005 to promote all aspects of Ayurveda and Yoga Internationally, through the neutral body of Ayurveda Yoga Australia (AYA).
Studying the various intertwined paths of Yoga and Ayurveda lead to study of shastras in the original sanskrit texts and immersion in Bhakti yoga practises especially kirtan, the congregational chanting of the holy names.
Over the last four years Sevadevi has travelled extensively through the Himalayas to Kedarnath, Badrinath and Gangotri ending each pilgrimage in Vrindavan. Inspiration gained through these practices and pilgrimages has inspired Sevadevi to paint exquisite images as an offering to the divine.
